To ensure your In-Browser ad-player is working as intended, please follow the guidelines below.
Your default browser MUST BE:
Keep your browser open while PlayVIG is running.
Play your game in windowed-fullscreen for the best experience, as it will allow the ad-player to seamlessly open.
Windows 8 and up recommended
If you are running an Ad Blocker, you must disable it for PlayVIG to work properly. Check our guide on "Disabling Your Ad Blocker" for step by step instructions on how to turn most Ad Blockers off.
When starting your Leaderboard, first click the yellow "Start Playing" button from the PlayVIG client.
The ad will open up in your default browser. YOU MUST click play in order for your ads to start playing.
Remember to watch the entire ad. Once the ads have finished playing, the ad player will tell you to return to the PlayVIG app.
The PlayVIG client will open again and tell you to launch/play your game.
Make sure to keep your browser open for the entire duration of your match (you may minimize it after watching the ads). PlayVIG should turn green indicating it is connected to your match.
After your game has finished and PlayVIG has graded your results, the browser with the PlayVIG ad player will open again. You can now watch the next ad. If your browser does not open automatically, please make sure you navigate back to it so you can watch your ad. Once the ad has finished playing, you are ready to continue your quest or start a new one.
